The standard we work to

EC-approved. Halal-certified. Batch-traceable.

Al-Sabil Marketplace operates from an Halal certified approved facility in Dublin 15. Everything we sell is processed to a standard that a proper independent butcher would recognise — clinical hygiene, careful ageing, honest weighing.

Halal certification

All meat is processed under recognised halal standards, certified by an accredited authority. Certificates are on file at our facility and are provided on request. If you're procuring for a mosque, school, hospital, or catering business and need our current halal certificate for your records, contact us and we'll send it the same day.

EC number Halal Certified

An EC number means the facility has been inspected and approved by the Department of Agriculture to process meat for sale. It's a working licence, not a marketing badge. Ours is displayed on every invoice, on our loading dock signage, and here.

Traceability, by batch

Every pack we ship carries a batch code that ties back to source, cutting date, and packing operator. Quote us any batch code on any pack you've received and we'll tell you where the meat came from and who packed it. That's not marketing — that's how a functioning food business works.

Facility standards

Cold-chain controlled from arrival to loading dock. Independent temperature monitoring. Vacuum sealing at pack point. Insulated boxes with food-safe ice packs for delivery. Full HACCP procedures maintained under our FSAI registration.

Standards & Sourcing FAQs

Are all products processed in a single facility?
+
Yes. All cutting, preparation, vacuum sealing, and dispatch are carried out strictly in our Halal certified approved facility in Dublin 15. This ensures we control the cold chain and hygiene protocols 100% of the time.
Is all meat independently certified halal?
+
Yes. Every single meat product is certified halal by recognized accredited authorities. We maintain full traceability batches, and our certification records are available for audit/viewing upon request.
What does FSAI registration cover?
+
We are registered with the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI). This mandates regular, unannounced veterinary and sanitary inspections, strict HACCP plans, continuous temperature monitoring, and routine microbial swab tests to verify absolute food safety.
